Professional info

After spending eight weeks living and working in Belfast, Northern Ireland, I realized my desire to become a journalist. I wanted to return to Northern Ireland to keep working with this community, because I found a responsibility and role I could play in the media. Recently, I have been accepted to Queen's University, Belfast, where I will pursue a masters in broadcast literacy. I hope to work for BBC as a writer in radio or television. In addition to working as a journalist, I am learning Irish. My first language is English, and I am working on my certification as a fluent French speaker. I also have basic profiency in Latin. I believe language is an important tool in understanding world affairs, and thus I plan to continue studying language in order to support my role as a journalist.
